Recently I have seen a movie on youtube. It was not graceful and hit like Forrest Gump movie. But I could connect protagonists of movie at some points.
Forrest Gump is a man with low IQ. Where in this movie, people don’t respect and like the hero.
- Both are confused about their future. Both are seeking for their lost love.
- Both have many emotional problems and weakness.
- Time and situations never support them.
This movie is The Weatherman (2005)
David Spritz is working for a news channel and his job is to cover weather news. How ever he is not so happy and sometime bored with his job. But this is the best what he could do for getting paid.
He grown in very protective nature of his father. However his father pushed him many ways to do something in life. But David couldn't be like his father. He has deep regret and pain for it. This makes him so pessimist about life.
He has a broken marriage and two kids. Who has their own issues and problems to deal with. They live with their mother. David keep visiting him regular basis and try to help them his way...
David's wife is about to get remarried, his father is on a critical stage of a disease, kids are facing new problems, David himself is feeling confused and helpless.
This is the whole situation and setting about the movie. But there are many light comedy things are happen. How weatherman deal with this things and how he get through (or not) is all the movie about.
